The Stan Davis Legacy Award helps aspiring athletes pursue their dreams by covering triathlon and running race entry fees in Utah, making it easier for everyone to get to the starting line.
Stan and Marti Davis
This legacy was created in memory of Stan, a lifelong athlete who spent more than 40 years as a triathlete and runner, who inspired others to show up and give their best. His passion for sport was matched only by his dedication to encouraging others to begin—or continue—their own journey.
A livelong love of sport becomes a legacy when it inspires others to begin
Help individuals build confidence, improve their health, and explore new possibilities through the power of sport.
Bring people to sport and foster a welcoming community where athletes can grow, connect, and build lasting friendships.
Remove financial barriers by covering race entry fees for anyone starting, returning, or continuing their racing journey.

This legacy is made possible by an anonymous donor and supported through ongoing contributions. It helps cover race entry fees for as long as funds allow—removing financial barriers and opening the starting line to more people.
Stan passed away from Alzheimer's disease on September 6, 2025. Even as the disease challenged him, his joyful spirit, sense of humor, and love for sport remained a constant source of inspiration. Always young at heart, Stan had a way of making people laugh—and drawing others to him with his warmth, charm, and unmistakable smile.
He lived boldly and adventurously, embracing life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and kindness. To those who knew him, he was larger than life itself—deeply loved, endlessly encouraging, and impossible to forget. Stan's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the passion for living fully that he shared so freely.
In every stroke, every pedal, every mile, he proved that steady, daily effort builds your best performance on race day!
Powering through the water with determination
Pushing the pace on two wheels
Finishing strong with every step
If you've ever wondered whether this could be your moment, it is.
Every racing journey begins the same way—with the courage to start.
